Year 12

The time has come to wind down our time here in Klaipeda, Lithuania for the season. My husband is finishing up his 12th season as a professional and I’m just so incredibly proud of him. We are pulling to bring home a medal in a week or so and then enjoy a summer home in Texas.

This year has probably been the best out of all my years traveling with Zo. I have loved every place we have called home, but this year all 3 of us made a “life” here and it’s really made for some incredible memories.

Logan has excelled in school here and man, we are so sad to leave that. He loves all his friends and teachers, has enjoyed birthday parties and plays dates, and I’ve loved getting to know some of the great mamas in his class as well.

I was able to finally put my degree to use after ten years, ha! I had the opportunity to volunteer at Logan’s school to teach English in the primary school building. It’s been amazing!! I feel so blessed to have spent this time with the kiddos and I’m going to miss my 3 classes terribly.

I also have gotten to hang out with some of my Lithuanian friends I’ve missed so much, hang out with some incredible American wives, and also make some new friends here which has been so fun. I was able to organize several events for the American wives group and the memories from this season for sure will be in my mind always!

I don’t think I spent much time at the apartment this season and was always on the go! It’s been an extremely busy season but seriously the best one.

I also was asked a few months ago to model in a bridal editorial coming up in a few days and I can’t wait! After having prep, hair, nail, makeup, and fitting meetings all week, I’m so excited to watch the teams incredible vision come to life! I’m honored. It’s been almost a decade since I’ve seen my prints on paper so to see these will be fun!

We had THE best nanny, as Logan calls her, Paddington (Patricia) who has loved on our baby boy more than we could imagine or ask! She graduated from University AND got married all this year! She’s a rockstar and we are really going to miss her!

Ohhhh….and basketball! Ha! The real reason we are here!

Zo has had a wonderful season. We are in Lithuania for the third year, he knows the league and they know him! It’s been a fun year, pretty injury free, and a successful season for the club being in 2nd place!

January brought us the hardest month of our lives when we lost my mother in law. Zo had lots of unexpected trips home, lots of long, sad flights, and traveling and playing was extremely difficult.

Grief is tough, it looks different for everyone. But there is one thing I’ll always remember my mother in law saying.

“This is God’s plan for me, I won’t fight it or question it, I know this is my path”

I so want to be like her. I want to have the faith, 100% that God’s purpose for us is good, even through the trial.

We miss her everyday, but I know she’s never been prouder of her son and she finally gets to see all his overseas games!

So here we are, summer 2019, end of pro season 12.

Where to next? I’m not sure, but if it tops this year…we are NEVER retiring!!

Let’s chat money-our Dave Ramsey financial peace university update!

Hi friends!!!

Some of you may remember me talking about Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University that our church participated in the fall of 2017. Welp, it’s been about 18 months and we have come so far in our finances and in our spending.

If you are clueless to Dave Ramsey and financial peace university, check out my original video, 3 months into starting : My Dave Ramsey FPU review

Since beginning this journey we have paid off 6 debts (yes, that’s a lot lol) . But in 18 months we are pretty proud of that! Some debts were really small and a few that were larger. We paid off a student loan of mine, which was a big one and our credit cards. We are still on a journey since we have a home and a mortgage but we hope to get that gone soon! The list gets smaller every month and we are happy about that.

I wanted to share the basic info here if you are interested in Dave Ramsey’s programs, it’s a game changer, promise!

Step 1–emergency fund

one of the most important things you can do for yourself and your family. Quick access to a couple hundred or thousand dollars for unexpected expenses could be huge. Having this cash account will help you stay out of debt and still take care of things when they arise. Best place to store the money? A savings account that earns interest!

Step 2- pay off debt in snowball order

Basically taking small amounts of money and applying them to big debts, in an ascending order. Take the small amounts and spend them on debt instead of frivolous things. (More on this in my video above)

Step 3–3-6 months of expenses saved

Emergency fund is great for unexpected expenses—roof leaks, family member passes and you need to travel, a/c goes out, car breaks down, etc. But what happens if you lose your job? Having 3-6 months worth of expenses allows you to breathe a bit instead of panic!

Step 4–invest 15% of income into Roth IRA’s & retirement

Pretty self explanatory, take a look at all options & possibly speak with a financial planner if you need to.

Step 5–college fund for kids

This one speaks for itself. By the time you get here, your bank accounts are looking good. All your debt (accept House) is payed off, you have an emergency fund & quite a bit of savings for expenses & you are investing. Now, save for your kiddos! You aren’t sure where your little 5 year old will be in 10 years or if they even want to go to college but as a family you can decide where to allot the money when the time comes.

Step 6–pay off your home early

So you’ve payed off all debt and are saving money for your kids future by this point. Why not pay off your mortgage early? For some people this could mean a wife or husband quitting their job and staying home with the kids, summer vacations, add ons or renovations on a house, and much more. If you’ve reached this point–work on pulling the plug on your mortgage debt!

Step 7–build wealth & give

You should already be tithing (10% of your income) if you are a believer, but there are many other ways to give charitably when you’ve hit this point!

Beyond giving, you should invest in things like real estate, index funds, and mutual funds; the idea is an alternative stream of income.

Speak with a financial planner if you’ve made it to step 7 and see what your options are.

Remember:

These are called baby steps. They aren’t going to happen overnight, even if you have 1 credit card and no mortgage!

Here we are in month 18 with still a bit to go. But making the progress feels good & it’s so worth it!!

The 4 letter word that has haunted me for a year.

ADHD….

This little word with such big impact has haunted my mind for about a year now & I think I’ve finally found answers. I struggled writing this out of judgement & fear but I hope maybe our story can help some other moms & dads looking for answers.

I have heard it all when it comes to my strong-spirited child, Logan who turned four in November.

“He has ADHD”

“Is he always this hyper?”

“I think you shouldn’t give him sugar”

“Gosh he’s wild”

And many, many more.

The truth is, I know this. My son has always been extremely active, loud spoken, talkative, creative, free spirited, and to put it shortly…a wild child.

But my son also takes 2 hour naps, listens to his teachers, sleeps 9-10 hours a night, knows right from wrong, apologizes when he makes mistakes, and can sit still for a book or school work for longer than 30 minutes-1 hour at a time.

So what’s going on? Is he just a boy? Should I be concerned? I just want him to relax a bit in public!

My son exhibits many signs that in 2019 a Dr. would diagnose as ADHD, and our pediatrician has mentioned before…she’s no longer our pediatrician.

But I don’t think that’s the case.

I remember coming home from Europe & my son eating American food for the first time in 6 months, for 3 long days my son’s behavior was out of control. He was the most wild and hyper I have ever seen him in my life, it brought me to tears & I was exhausted, felt defeated, & simply put; overwhelmed . I began to realize that the adjustment to food & what I was feeding him had a direct impact on his behavior.

For about 6 months I limited his sugar intake and tried to cut back on processed foods, this helped but still something just wasn’t all the way right.

So we had him blood tested, only to find out that he was extremely deficient in the main categories that trigger ADHD behaviors.

-Omega 3’s

-Magnesium

-Iron

-Zinc

All of these are key to cognitive development & mental clarity, all of which he was lacking.

My son has always been thin, it’s genetic, but has also been a picky eater, I knew that would no longer be able to fly & that we had to buckle down on natural supplements & good food.

So what did we do?

-cut back on gluten by 90%

-limited sugar to 1 small portion a day (yogurt, granola bar, etc)

-had 3 servings of fresh fruits & vegetables

-incorporated nuts & eggs

-NO screen time after 6pm

-Bedtime at 9pm sharp

-incorporated essential oils in the morning & at bedtime (lavender, cedar wood, wild orange, and Vetiver)

-gave iron, omega 3 & zinc supplements

-gave magnesium supplement before bed

What I saw was a complete change. I know that Logan doesn’t have ADHD and was simply just exhibiting this behavior because of his poor diet & lack of nutrients. These are controllable. We will continue to incorporate these additions to his diet and keep our routine.

Navigating behavior in children is incredibly difficult. I know for a fact that my child’s nutrition options are better in Europe and the traditional American diet is something that triggers hyperactive behavior in my son.

I’m grateful we could figure it all out and get him on the right tract. I highly suggest blood testing, change in diet, essential oils, and monitored screen time for your littles if you suspect ADHD or hyperactive behaviors.

I also just want to say that I KNOW there are many children with ADHD who have no other option than medication and that their diagnosis is extreme, at the moment this is not Logan and I completely understand and feel for all the moms and dads that are struggling with behavioral disorders in their little ones.

We are all just doing our best.

Girls weekend! —Indiana & Kentucky

I had such a great time on my girls trip about a week ago and wanted to share a little wrap up of a few things we did. The goal was a fun and relaxing getaways with one of my best friends on the planet! We’ve known each other over a decade and each summer we make a point to get together. You see, we have never lived in the same city, most of the time we have lived in separate states and that makes seeing each other a bit difficult. Since this year was a busy one for me as a wife and mama bear, I decided I would fly up to see her, alone without my son or husband and just enjoy some time alone. (You can catch that blog post here:take the weekend ).

I flew into Louisville, Kentucky which is a direct, 2 hr flight from Houston and we drove a swift 20 minutes to Indiana to where she lives…yep, 20 minutes to another state. You can imagine how this concept seems insane from this Texas girl where 20 minutes gets me 4 miles away!

We actually enjoyed some time in both Indiana and Kentucky and I wanted to share a few of my favorite outings:

1. Churchill Downs—Kentucky, home of the Kentucky derby. I’ll have to make my way back in the spring one year and enjoy the races!

2. Zaxby’s—this was my first time trying the little chain spot and it was delicious! If you’re looking for chicken (similar to whataburger, canes, hooters, this is great!)

3. Big 4 bridge—this historical bridge leads you over the Ohio river and crosses you from Indiana into Kentucky, pretty neat!

4. Pie kitchen cafe—this was a cute little dessert spot and I tried their homemade vanilla icecream with homemade caramel apple crisp pie—to die for! ((Pie Kitchen ))

5. Shepardsville Indiana led us to a quaint little winery that boasted my favorite type of white wine “light, crisp” and extremely tasty. ((Vineyards website: Wight Meyers Vineyard ))

6. 8 up. This was a rooftop bar we enjoyed downtown that overlooked Louisville and had great vibes, drinks, and music, definitely recommend on a cool, summer night. ((8 UP ))

These were a few of my favorite things and I so cherished my time with my dear friend, Kayla. Although our trips are only once a year, they are my favorite and I can’t wait for our 2019 adventures!

Until next time

San Antonio, Texas with families–Top places to eat

Thank you to the wonderful places that hosted us, all opinions are 100% my own.

Who doesn’t LOVE to eat when they go on vacation? I know we do and San Antonio did NOT disappoint! We had an incredible time on vacation in San Antonio Texas and we had our minds made up to eat at some incredible places. I am sharing our top 5 places to eat that are suitable for all, we brought along our families but each establishment could have been for couples and even some pet friendly places.

If you are in San Antonio you cannot miss out on trying these!

  1. Hard Rock Cafe San Antonio . If you are looking for a fun and relaxed atmosphere, this is your place! We had an incredible time at the Hard Rock Café and the food had such great flavor and the portion sizes were filling. As we entered into the café a room full of rock star legend décor surrounded us and the vibe immediately put you in a good mood, ask my little one who was dancing non-stop! Downstairs we had a large table that was seated near the bar and that was THE coolest bar I have seen. What a great vibe, lots of drink choices, and the bartenders seemed so lively and fun. My family and I enjoyed all different types of food from chicken, salads, and burgers, pulled pork, fries, ribs, wings, fajitas, and a hot fudge sundae! Everything was delicious and we had ZERO to go boxes! This place had a great variety of people, from families, to a work crowd at the bar for happy hour, to couples and friends enjoying the outside patio along the famous River walk. There was a spot for everyone and the music, lively wait staff, and restaurant décor made for a wonderful experience for my family and I. No matter who you are or who you are with, make a stop here when you visit San Antonio, this is a wonderful, fun place to enjoy! Thank you for hosting us Hard Rock Café!

2. Guillermo’s Downtown . This incredible Italian Restaurant did not disappoint. We parked in the back of this quaint little yellow “house” and were greeted by fun colors, paintings, lights, sounds, and an outdoor patio, which had some cute little pups dining, too! (Their outdoor seating is pet friendly). We walked in and were greeted and set right down. The menu had a ton of choices and they all sounded amazing. Pasta, lasagna, calzones, desserts, salads, pizzas, and a great drink menu. My family all has different tastes and we all ordered different things…with no left overs brought home! I enjoyed a started Caesar salad, which was unique and topped with cranberries, green olives, and pineapples. My mom and I shared a 10-inch margarita pizza that had the tastiest cheeses, fresh basil, and ripe tomatoes. My husband and sister enjoyed lasagna, one with mushroom and spinach and the other with pepperoni and chicken. My dad enjoyed their traditional pasta and meat sauce and he said this was “the best meat sauce he had ever tasted.” This cute little restaurant is off the main path and crowd and a favorite with the locals, if we ever are back in San Antonio, this is a must again, next time we will try and save room for dessert and drinks! Thank you for hosting us Guillermo’s.

3. Sip. My sister and I enjoyed afternoon coffee and people watching right near the River walk at this quaint little bistro. They offer fresh juices, little bites, and all sorts of different coffee drinks. The atmosphere is hip and fun and we enjoyed lounging on the couch and enjoying our brews. If you are looking for a little café with a great vibe, here’s your spot!  (((My tee is from: Moots Clothing )))IMG_3347

4. Lulu’s Bakery and Cafe . We knew we wanted to head to this 24/7 café during our trip to San Antonio to try their famous 3 pound cinnamon roll. My husband had seen their shop featured on the TV show, Man vs. Food and he wanted to try this out, it was amazing! It was incredibly sweet, moist, with just the right amount of cinnamon, and delicious. Between the 7 of us we thought we would finish it but we couldn’t! They also boast some delicious bakery eats and proudly serve comfort food all day long! They are also known for their 21-ounce chicken fried steak with a challenge to eat it all in 12 minutes! Could you do it?

5. Down on Grayson . We met some friends here for dinner and it did not disappoint. The place had an upscale café vibe and a great full-length bar in the dining area. We enjoyed dinner on their large patio where they had tables, fans with cool mist blowing, and umbrellas. Their mixed drinks were amazing and I enjoyed a lovely frozen Sangria margarita, crisp nachos with chicken as an appetizer, and a delicious grilled chicken Caesar salad for dinner. My husband raved about their chicken sandwich and their apple crisp for dessert! This place was good for families and couples alike and we had a great time with our friends here, definitely recommend this place if you are near downtown San Antonio.

Thank you for reading and hope you enjoy your visit to San Antonio, or if you are local, check these out!

San Antonio, Texas for families—Things to Do

Thank you to the wonderful places that hosted us, all opinions are 100% my own.

We had the absolute best time in San Antonio and were able to enjoy it with not only my husband and son but also with my parents and siblings. San Antonio is a great place for families and there are activities and places to go for all ages and interests. I wanted to share with you all some of my favorite places to go for family friendly activities. Thank you to all the incredible places that hosted us and for the amazing hospitality at each spot!

  1. Natural Bridge Caverns . We stopped here first since it was on our way from Houston and about 30 minutes from our Air BnB in San Antonio. THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE. Natural Bridge Caverns offers a wide range of activities and tours and we really could have spent the whole day there! They offer cave tours, a bat flight, a canopy challenge, a maze, gem and fossil mining, lots of good eats and drinks, and souvenir shops, of course! We went on the most popular tour, the discovery tour. This tour lasts a little over an hour and is perfect if you have smaller kids that won’t sit still long (like ours). You walk a little over ½ a mile through the caves and the tour guide teaches you about the ancient formations and you also get to take photos along the way. This tour was interesting, engaging, fun, and we got our exercise in for the day! There was so much more to do and if you are ever along the path of Natural Bridge Caverns it is worth the stop! Discovery tour tickets: $23.50 for adults
  1. Splashtown San Antonio. This was our next stop of the day to cool off and have some water fun! The park is very close to downtown and was right off the highway and they do not charge for parking. We walked in and rented lockers to keep all of our belongings and then jumped right in for the fun. My 3 year old went straight for the kid slides and they had two specified sections of kid fun. They were well designed where parents could lounge and relax and still see all their children and they provided lounge chairs and tables. There were water falls, splash pad areas, lots of slides, and shallow water for my little one to enjoy. My parents had a great time cruising the lazy river and my siblings and I enjoyed the 3 giant slides they offered. There was lots of fun for all ages, our family ranges from 3-60 years old and we all had a blast, especially ending our day in the wave pool! There are showers available when you are finished and lots of snacks and concessions throughout. If you travel to San Antonio for some water fun, stop here! We spent about 3 hours and for sure could have kept going! Adult tickets: $28.99 (with special online admission discount)
  1. San Antonio Aquarium . We absolutely loved the San Antonio aquarium. We began by exploring their dinosaur exhibit on the first level and that was really neat, they even had a little interactive floor game that we had to drag my son away from! We headed downstairs to the aquarium and started our tour through it and began with a fun time in the indoor sand box. Lots of kids were enjoying building sand castles and playing and my son spent some fun time there as well. We headed into the main room where we explored lots of tanks with different types of fish and sea creatures and my personal favorite was feeding the stingrays. There is a huge tank in the center of the aquarium where you are able to see, pet, and feed the stingrays, this was so fun to watch and participate in and they splashed my little guy, which had him laughing! We used our tokens to get food for the fish, stingrays, ostriches, and birds. We explored and fed as many animals as we could. They also had pony rides, bird petting, pirate shows, a live mermaid that was face painting, and a really neat gift shop where my son bought 2 cool sharks! There was so much to do and we didn’t even make it to the play center or bouncy house area…yes, you read that right, bouncy houses! We could have stayed there all day, it was such an interactive place where kids and families of all ages could enjoy something fun. My siblings, mom, and I ended our trip there with a sloth encounter, how stinking cool! You are able to learn about these cool creatures, pet them, feed them, and look around their habitat. This was a fun little interaction and I learned a lot about these cute little creatures. Overall I give the aquarium a 10 out of 10, there was just so much to do and see and unlike typical museums or centers, this aquarium was FULLY interactive. I loved that we could touch, explore, and feed almost every creature there, it made the trip fun for everyone in the family and especially neat for my 3-year-old son. We will be going back again for sure! Adult admission: $13.95
  1. The DoSeum was such a spectacular children’s museum, probably the best I have visited. There was SO much for kids to participate in and we enjoyed our time there. There were lots of interactive activities for kids to play in including dress up stations, pretend play stations, light and sound fun, outdoor play, and water play, too! We also enjoyed their summer exhibit “Dream, tomorrow, today” which showcases the importance of conservation, preservation, imagination, and exploration—start creating the future you imagine. My 3-year old had a great time enjoying their interactive activities, drawing his future self, sliding down the interactive slide, checking out all the recycled pieces, and enjoying the fun maze! We ended our time ringing the wind chimes in the tree house and splashing in the splash pad area, there is so much to do and you could spend lots more hours than we did! If you have kids and are in the area you cannot miss the DoSeum and right now they are showcasing that cool “Dream, tomorrow, today” exhibit and it is a MUST see! Admission for ages 1+: $14
  1. Sea World . What a fun adventure. I have not been to Sea World in about 20 years and I loved every moment of re-living the fun and adding my son to join in! We had a great time watching two fun shows, the Ocean Discovery which showcased Pacific white-sided dolphins, beluga whales, and colorful macaws as well as the One ocean show with killer whales. Both of these shows lasted the perfect amount of time to keep my little guy entertained and also boasted some beautiful messages and facts about the animals. Lots of time was also spent in their Sesame Street Bay of Play which was a huge splash pad area, a carousel, a fun Shamu ride, and a performance from all the Sesame Street characters. While my husband, mom, and son played here, my dad and I rode the 3 big roller coasters, I am a bit of a chicken when it comes to rides and thrills and these were lots of fun (and scary). After the Electric Eels 150 foot drop, I believe I am good on rides for a while! Adult admission: $59 online discount

San Antonio, Texas is such a great place for friends, couples, and families, we enjoyed our time there so much and would recommend San Antonio to anyone looking for some relaxed and enjoyable adventures!

Our trip to Šiauliai

Good morning friends! I wanted to share our day trip to one of my favorite places in Lithuania, the city of Šiauliai. Back in 2012 we visited this place and again in 2014. Each time we go I fall more in love with this hill…”The hill of crosses.”

The hill of crosses dates back to the 1800’s when grieving relatives would come to mourn and pray and leave a symbol, a cross of remembrance. Today, there are hundreds of thousands of crosses and this place stands as a unified symbol, no matter your race, religion, cultural background, or citizenship, you are welcome. There are no doors or walls, just open space to browse, read, and pray.

We now have 3 crosses here at this place. 1 to bless our marriage, 1 we placed as we prayed over having a child, and now 1 for our family and blessings to come.

I am not sure I will make it back here again, but I am grateful to see and experience such incredible and breathtaking places around the globe. It is worth the trip if you are ever in these neck of the woods!

Play offs are here and Šiauliai has a basketball team as well, we are playing them for the first round of play offs, games 2 & 4. Game 4 tonight! Wish us luck!

I’ll never take for granted the opportunity to see a true country sunset. The drive back from Šiauliai is only an hour, but it’s an hour of peaceful open road that excites my little country girl soul.

Until next time.

Germany trip

Good morning friends!

So happy to share our Germany trip with you all. We were on vacation Wednesday-Sunday and loved every single second. Traveling with a toddler can be quite difficult at times but over and over again I would choose “yes” to have him experience all these wonderful sights and people.

We flew in to Bremen which is a direct flight from Vilnius, Lithuania and only 1.5 hours. Perfect amount for a three year old. We landed in Bremen and took a train into Oldenburg to meet friends.

When Zo was playing in Germany we met the Paulding family and immediately clicked. I spent time with Kara while we were there and we have kept in touch ever since. It had been two years since I have seen them (Kara, her husband & their three kids) and we were due for a visit.

Being an only child, having 3 other playmates this week was absolute heaven for him. He talked and talked about those precious kiddos the whole flight home. This lifestyle comes with a lot of goodbyes and sometimes it makes this mama’s heart hurt, but I’m grateful for friends that will be forever buddies, even though the distance is big!

Germany is such an amazing country and if we had weeks to tour it all…we would, and we have! This trip we spent just in Oldenburg & Bremen. My favorites are below if you ever make it up north!

So glad we chose to make the trip, hang with friends, and enjoy one of our most favorite places on earth!

-Explore city center Oldenburg (take a bite at one of our favorite restaurants Vapiano for some Italian food)

-Enjoy brunch at Hafenhaus that overlooks the boat dock, if you are lucky you can catch a few boats! (Oldenburg)

-Waterfront Bremen has my favorites, Foot locker, Starbucks, and Primark for shopping.

-Train station Bremen: take a ride to almost anywhere in Germany and enjoy the views.

We stayed with friends in Oldenburg but I chose to do a hotel Saturday evening since our flight was so early and that cuts back about an hour of travel time and with a toddler, any time saved is precious! We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express by the airport and it was fabulous. The room was very spacious, lots of TV channels for kids, and the best thing was the breakfast started at 4am. This was perfect for us since we had to check out at 5:30am and most places don’t have breakfast that early! I was able to take croissants and fruit to go, along with a delicious coffee. This made my little guy happy and full for the flight! It’s also walking distance to the airport so we just hopped on over to our gate easily. I also forgot toothpaste. Generally you would go downstairs and grab it but i called and informed them I had a sleeping toddler and they immediately said they would bring up some toiletries. Not only was the staff incredibly friendly, but they brought up what i needed and very quietly knocked on the door. May seem simple, but that gesture was just another way of them saying they heard what i said and listened!! This sealed it for me!

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bremen.

Until next time…

Mom Crush Monday’s –Mommy on the move

#momcrushmonday

Good morning friends and Happy Monday! Today up on the blog I have a very special guest, Tierra. I was able to sit down with Tierra this weekend and ask her a few questions about her new ventures.

Tierra is one of the sweetest ladies I know. She is a wife to a formal pro ball player turned awesome coach, a mom to 3 little boys (you read that right!), and a woman entrepreneur with an awesome new venture. I asked Tierra 5 questions that I hope you all will enjoy and get to know her more.

Morgan: Welcome Tierra, thanks for joining me over at Life of a b-ball wife. As a fellow basketball wife, I know you can relate to the stresses of being in season, games, practices, wins and losses, busy schedules. How do you manage with 3 little boys running around? I can barely keep up with one!

Tierra: Jesus! Lots and lots of Jesus!

No but seriously, faith is definitely the foundation of our home. So on our rough days (they happen pretty often with three lively boys in the mix!), I can always find something to be grateful for in the midst of the beautiful mess that comes along with life!

We also have an awesome village of family and friends ready and willing to step in and help when they can.

Morgan: I heard you have something amazing coming to Mommy on the Move, can you share a little bit?

Tierra: Yes! I’m so excited to announce the start of my podcast, Mommy On the Move! I look forward to bringing you an honest, unfiltered podcast, ranging in mommy topics from the truth behind traveling solo with three boys to representation and how this affects our family to where I find the inspiration to keep on keepin’ on, and so much more!

Morgan: Podcast? Sounds amazing! What brought that idea about?

Tierra: I really just wanted to share my genuine perspective filled with very honest and very real pitfalls, peaks, and all the moments in between. I don’t have all the answers, Sway! But I do have the truth, and I can’t wait to share mine with you.

Morgan: Tierra, can you tell my readers a little bit about what you want to accomplish with your new Mommy on the Move ventures?

Tierra: Social media inundates us with enough filters, so I wanted to share the real, candid moments, moments each mama can relate to, empathize with, and learn something from, too.

Morgan: Before we go, can you let us know where to find you on social media and your new podcast?

Tierra: You can find me on

Facebook: Mommy On the Move

Instagram: @mommyonthemove

Stay tuned to my page for more details on release dates and subscription info for the podcast coming soon!

Morgan: Thanks for your time, girl! I look forward to watching you grow and sharing your hilarious, fun, loving spirit with all my readers!

xo,

Morgan
